Apparently, Rockstar's GTA 6 won't have a physical version on launch day, and according to leaker Graczdari and PPE.pl, a source told them that this was decided to avoid any gameplay or story leaks. They also said that it's not clear when the physical one will be coming out. Some think that it might be around three weeks after the launch, and others say that it might be in 2027.
At the end of last year, a former Rockstar employee shared a video demonstrating some behind-the-scenes animations from the game, and even though it wasn't a big leak, the video gained a lot of attention and was deleted afterwards.
Fans have been waiting for GTA 6 for a long time, and at first, they expected to see the game on May 26, 2026, but in November, Rockstar announced that the release date was moved to November 19, 2026, saying that the additional time was to "finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve."
