In early December 2023, Rockstar revealed the long-awaited GTA 6. Following the release of the game's debut trailer, some fans meticulously analyzed the video for various details, including speculation about famous actor Troy Baker potentially voicing the main character named Jason.
Recently, Baker addressed the rumors about his involvement in GTA 6 in an interview on The Movie Dweeb's YouTube channel. He says that it's hard to identify the actor as the main character only says one word "trust".
"He says one word! He says "trust". That right there is a lesson in perception – people think and they just automatically assume," Baker shared. "I want that guy, whoever it is, to credit for his work because I'm sure it's going to be great."
There is also speculation among fans that actor Brent Antonello could be the voice behind the character of Jason. Antonello is best known for his roles in TV series such as Law & Order: Organized Crime and Hit the Floor, and if he is indeed cast as Jason in GTA 6, it would mark his first venture into voice acting.
Earlier on, Insider Gaming reported that GTA 6 is developing smoothly and no delays are anticipated.
