A battle of insiders: Kotaku's report of delays is "pure conjecture."

Several days ago, Kotaku reported that GTA 6 might be delayed until late 2025 or even 2026, and it makes Rockstar Games' higher-ups worried, which is one of the reasons why the studio wants its workers to return to the office.
However, Insider Gaming's senior editor Mike Straw joined the discussion and denied such rumors. He asked multiple sources about it, and they said the game was "on schedule" and "any suggestion of a delay at this point in development is 'pure conjecture'".
Tom Henderson also commented on the news, saying Kotaku was "trying to stir the pot based on Bloomberg's reporting."
So for now, believe facts only: Rockstar promises GTA 6 in 2025. The studio is "seeking perfection" and will release it once the game meets expectations, so let's hope it will happen then. We expect smarter NPCs and a PC version eventually, which will probably take a while.
