Head of Xbox Hardware Wants to Bring Quick Resume Feature to Windows

At a launch event for the ROG Ally, Roanne Sones said the device is making the company think differently about Windows experiences.

At a launch event for ASUS ROG Ally, Head of Xbox Devices Roanne Sones shared that the handheld made the company "think differently about the experiences" for gaming on Windows. She also said that it makes Microsoft think about integrating its Quick Resume feature for PCs. As noticed by Tom Warren, the editor at The Verge, Sones discussed the possibility of playing a game on PC and then immediately picking it up from the same place on a handheld.

"How do we think about integrating this into the Windows platform? How do we think about really working with developers and publishers, not just our own, but also more broadly with third party?"

Despite the interest, it might take a long time for Microsoft to get the function. Meanwhile, you can enjoy the ROG Ally powered by Windows 11 and 3 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
