Hellsing Ultimate-Inspired Character Animation for Pwnisher's Community Challenge

Trần Quốc Khánh shared his jaw-dropping entry for pwnisher's Gauntlet of Gods challenge. His character, Cassian Drael, is a monster slayer who carries two silver bayonets to defeat his enemies. The artist created the character using Blender. 

As other users noticed, the character was largely inspired by Alexander Anderson of Hellsing Ultimate. Alexander Anderson is a vampire hunter with superhuman strength, endurance, speed, and senses. He carries two handheld Holy Bayonets that can kill enemies in a single swing. He's often seen holding two bayonets in a cross shape, which is his signature posture recreated in many fan arts, including this one. 

The entry, however, raised questions among some moderators because Trần Quốc Khánh posted it as a collaborative post with his fellow artist TM.DUCKY. They said collaboration was against the rules, as there was supposed to be one entry per person. The artist explained that the tagging was more of a friendly shoutout they gave each other on Instagram, and each of them crafted their character on their own. 

Although Instagram users praised the artist's skills, creating 3D characters is not his main specialty. He designs 3D pieces for commercials, music videos, stage visuals, and more. You can check out more of Trần Quốc Khánh's work on his Instagram.
