Lead Unreal Engine Generalist Adam Drzazga has shipped Smoke and Fire Spline, a new Niagara Fluids system that utilizes splines as a source of particle emission, enabling the real-time generation of cinematic smoke and fire visual effects within Unreal Engine 5.
Compatible with UE5.3, Smoke And Fire Spline is comprised of two essential systems – SmokeAndFire_Spline, which emits particles continuously along the spline, and SmokeAndFire_SplineLoop, which emits particles that move along the spline. Additionally, the package includes 67 user parameters, allowing one to easily and quickly customize the system settings according to their needs.
