Last Epoch is an action RPG developed by Eleventh Hour Games, an indie studio founded in 2017 by a group of like-minded people from a game development subreddit. Their goal was to create the ultimate action RPG that would bring something fresh to the genre. To achieve this, the developers aimed for the perfect balance between complexity and depth, while also introducing innovative mechanics.

In 2018, Eleventh Hour Games crowdfunded the project on Kickstarter and launched the game on Steam in early access. Over five years, the developers continued to work on the game and release updates.

The developers of Last Epoch position their game between Diablo 4 and Path of Exile, as it offers accessibility and comprehension for new players, while also providing extensive opportunities for character improvement and item creation.

Last Epoch is slated for release on PC on February 21, 2024. As for now, you can pre-order the game on Steam for $34.99
