High-Detail Mechanical Hand Model With 3 Different Materials

The model was set up using Blender and Substance 3D Painter.

3D Hard-Surface Artist Haikal Shakyl, also known as LordCinn, has recently impressed hundreds of people online with his brand-new project, depicting a highly detailed 3D mechanical human hand.

While the intricate model looks marvelous in and of itself, the highlight of the project lies in its appealing textures, featuring not just one, not two, but three captivating materials: yellow, translucent orange, and Helldivers 2-inspired navy blue.

According to the creator, the model was set up using Blender, Substance 3D Painter, Photoshop, and Krita. Additionally, LordCinn utilized Poly Haven's Brown Photostudio 02 HDRI to set up lighting for the project.

"Oh, it's actually pretty basic, just the principled shader with the transmissive weights all the way up and the base color orange," commented the creator on setting up the translucent orange material. "In addition, I added a clearcoat on top."

And here are some behind-the-scenes shots and experimental materials shared by the artist over on ArtStation:
