Nav Singh showcased an impressive new sequence featuring his rhino rig.
In case you missed it, back in February, we featured an incredible 3D rhino animation created by Nav Singh, a Lead Animator at Pixomondo, using a combination of Maya, Houdini, and Unreal Engine 5. Recently, the artist revisited the rig, presenting a new realistic-looking sequence featuring the majestic creature.
This time, the creator depicted the rhino in a much calmer state of mind, showing the horny beast gracefully walking in a lifelike manner. According to Nav, the animation was set up as part of Seneca College's three-class creature lecture, which delved into the techniques and references required to create realistic body mechanics and animating the rhino's muscles using jiggle controllers.
