Historical & Magical Action Trench Tales Is Getting Playtests

Talking Drums, the developer of an upcoming action-adventure Trench Tales announced playtest sessions that will take place during upcoming weekends.

The game, set in an alternative world between World War I and World War II, unusually blends magic and military narrative. This world is dark and mysterious, with Gothic-inspired locations and war-torn, harsh reality. The player takes on the role of a lone warrior tasked with battling earthy and supernatural enemies, such as undead soldiers. 

Trench Tales has various locations, from narrow trenches to castles and swamps. It seamlessly combines tactical combat with supernatural powers and a diverse arsenal of powers, which includes magical abilities such as slowing time, swift healing of wounds, and a visionary sight, which helps to reveal hidden pathways and enemy positions.

The UE5-powered shooter features incredible destruction mechanics and explosions, along with a high-quality weather system and lifelike rains.
