On April 1, the highly-anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong received its own store page on Xbox. Initially, this was an exciting piece of news for fans who had been eagerly awaiting this moment for quite some time. However, they then felt confused as it happened on April Fools' Day.
"Today I will not be fooled by SilkSong release dates. I will not be fooled by SilkSong announcements of any kind," wrote one user.
Even the Senior Content Planning Manager for the Xbox Portfolio, Nick Zuclich, casually drew attention to the listing on his personal Twitter account, which made fans even more suspicious.
The Xbox page is still live as is the Steam one, so it may actually mean that something good is coming and it wasn't a joke at all.
Speaking of the Xbox page, there are merely a couple of screenshots and a trailer available at present – there is no release date, and the pre-order option is not yet active.
Well, hopefully, we could finally hear more from the developer about the upcoming sequel to the original Hollow Knight title soon!
