In This Cinematic Open-World Game You'll Have to Fight in a Fallen Near-Future Seoul

You can already add it to your wishlist!

Cinder City is an open-world cinematic third-person shooter game that occurs is a dystopian near-future Seoul. The studio just shared a developer preview that gives more context and information about the game.

Samuel King, Lead Concept Artist, and GH Shin, Project Manager, talked about the main aspects of Cinder City, sharing that the three core elements are: "a tense cinematic shooter experience, a massive open world, and a large-scale multiplayer PvE"

They also shared that the game will have a multiplayer system that allows players to work as a team to face the challenges and get a sense of accomplishment together. It is set to have an open-world battlefield that will evolve and expand constantly.

The story of the game is that you'll become a Cinderknight, a super soldier who defends the city from the Hyde group, mutated creatures, and hostile factions. Your decisions will influence what happens in Seoul.

Throughout the game, you will meet different characters who also have their own conflicts and stories, which will create a more narrative-driven experience. You will also have to build your tactical gear to create a strategy that works best for you.

With the developer preview video, it was announced that the Steam page of the game is now available, and this brought some comments amongst the gamer community because the minimum system requirements say that it needs 32GB of RAM, but the recommended capacity is 64GB of RAM. Either way is a lot considering that the most demanding modern AAA games need a minimum of 16GB.

People are wondering whether this might be an error or if it actually needs that much memory, and the game might be unoptimized. So far, the studio hasn't commented on it, so we don't know if the information is correct.

You can check the official page or the studio's social media, like Twitter/X, Facebook, and Discord, to stay updated.
