An impressive shader test by Cartesian Caramel.
Cartesian Caramel, a 3D artist known for their fantastic projects of various subjects, revealed a new beautiful work: a cloth wrinkle map shader test they made in Blender.
According to the creator, the simulation "determines which way the triangle is stretching, then uses a horizontal or vertical wrinkle texture for a bump map."
The experiment could easily be used not only in the Spider-Man universe but with any other character if Cartesian Caramel decides to share the finished result.
Meanwhile, check out their other projects, like this human torch effect, 3D fractals, extrude cuts modifier, and rain trails, on X/Twitter.
