INDUSTRIA 2's Polished Diegetic Inventory System Looks Super Cool

The system that we first saw a year ago has evolved into something truly remarkable.

A year after we first saw the diegetic inventory in INDUSTRIA 2, the long-awaited sequel to the team's 2021 "half-like" action FPS set in the Cold War era, the cool system has finally evolved into something truly remarkable.

Watching the whole inventory unfold in front of you and being capable of taking out weapons and grenades to drop them on the floor brings an unparalleled level of immersion. The other details, the sound of zip and clashing of weapons, the character's murmuring, which is a random pick from various lines, and the noise when the torch is turned on, come together like a symphony.

According to the developer, they've taken inspiration from Gloomwood, a stealth horror FPS created by Dillon Rogers, David Szymanski, Nate Berens, and Thomas Porta.

An earlier post reveals the exciting features of the inventory, such as the ability to look around while inside it, unique crafting recipe for each item, drag and drop crafting with cancel feature, weapon inspect mode plus attachments on and off:

INDUSTRIA 2, was announced last March and is set years after the events of the first part. The developers have been actively sharing updates on the project, showcasing the game's new gameplay features,  some technical details, custom-made foliageweapons, and enemies. A new story trailer featuring a new character was released in March.

If you feel pretty hyped for it, don't hesitate to wishlist it on Steam and follow the developer on Twitter to receive the latest development updates.
