The expectations are high.
Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson has presented a supposed timeline for PlayStation 5's hardware. You've probably heard about each item on the list, but it's nice to see it all together with assumed release windows.
Project Leonardo
The accessibility-focused kit was officially announced in January. It should make games more comfortable and easier to play for people with limited motor control.
Expected Release Date: Q4 2023.

New PlayStation 5 Console
It is not clear what this console is. Some reports say it will be the PS5 Slim, but Insider Gaming believes it is a different device, almost identical to the PlayStation 5 but with a detachable disc drive.
Expected Release Date: September 2023.
New Audio Hardware
Sony is allegedly working on wireless earbuds called Project Nomad and a wireless headset – Project Voyager. Nomad will have around 5 hours of battery life and can be charged via a USB-C cable connected to PS5, while Voyager has similar functionality to Inzone H7.
Expected Release Date: End of FY23.
Q Lite Handheld
What many thought would be Vita 2 appears to be something different. Rumor has it the handheld will be used for cloud-streaming, and Insider Gaming says it will look just like the DualSense controller "but have a large screen in the middle and one of its main features and assumed selling points will be the incorporation of haptic feedback."
Expected Release Date: Q4 2023.
PlayStation 5 Pro
This one has been frequently talked about lately. Insider Gaming is 100% sure that the PlayStation 5 Pro is currently in development, although many are dubious about the whole thing. It is said the first dev kit prototypes will be sent to first-party developers within the next couple of months, with third-party developers receiving them by the end of the year.
Expected Release Date: Q4 2024 (Tentative).
