INSYDIUM Teases NeXus For Blender
Take a look at three previews for the new version of the popular Cinema 4D particle and simulation tool.
INSYDIUM, known for creating widely adopted add-ons in Cinema 4D workflows, has offered a first look at NeXus for Blender, a new version of its GPU-accelerated particle simulation system. NeXus for Blender is described as "completely reimagined for Blender, bringing a powerful GPU-driven workflow with real-time performance and rapid iteration" and is planned for release this summer.
Three previews are now available. The first offers an early look at the new direction for NeXus, and the second one explores emission shapes and display options, giving you better control over how and where your effects come to life. The third showcases the NeXus Push Modifier, combined with nxTurbulence to create organic particle motion, with additional support from Blender scene tools.
As for performance, the demos were captured on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090. INSYDIUM notes that the aim is not just "high-end cards, but how much you can do in real-time will scale with the hardware".
Active Fused licenses that include NeXus will have NeXus for Blender included at the time of release. It will also be available to purchase separately. To celebrate NAB 2026, there's 30% off everything in the shop with code NAB30, valid through April 23rd.
