INSYDIUM Unveils New NeXus Tools For Simulating Liquid Effects

Introducing FLIP and APIC solvers, a new GPU-powered liquid meshing tool, and a procedural crown-splash generator.

INSYDIUM has released a new technical preview highlighting features available in the latest beta of Fused 2025, the upcoming version of INSYDIUM's Cinema 4D add-on, which includes NeXus.

nxFluids now supports FLIP and APIC solvers, enabling advanced liquid effects such as variable viscosity, liquid sheeting, and surface tension tendrils. The new nxMesher is a GPU-powered liquid meshing tool that quickly generates smooth, flicker-free meshes. It offers layered smoothing, multiple mesh types, and outputs particle color, velocity, and emitter IDs, providing maximum control for rendering and motion blur.

There's also nxSplash, a procedural crown-splash generator, allowing artists to design realistic or stylized splashes with intuitive controls, handles, and Bezier curves.

Right now, there's no additional information available about these new liquid simulation tools, but you can check out INSYDIUM's Fused and watch more videos on YouTube channel:
