JangaFX Introduces Permanent Layoff Assistance Program to Help Artists

You can get licenses to EmberGen, LiquiGen, and GeoGen to upgrade your portfolio.

With layoffs burning out the industry, it can be hard to get up and find another job. Thankfully, JangaFX, the creator of EmberGen, LiquiGen, IlluGen, and GeoGen, is here to help artists. The company's CEO announced that the Layoff Assistance Program is now a permanent part of its business, providing licenses to its elemental suite for free to those affected by layoffs for up to 6 months.

"One thing that really pisses me off about the game industry is the amount of layoffs that we see year after year. Some of these layoffs are a direct result of greedy shareholders simply wanting more profits for themselves. Some of these layoffs are due to external circumstances that studios could not control or have foreseen. Our industry in general is rather volatile, and unfortunately, there's not much we can do about it. The one thing I can control is how we reach out to artists when they have been knocked down and hopefully give them the opportunity and the motivation to stand back up."

Over the past year, JangaFX has helped over 100 artists update their portfolios after being laid off, and now, the program is here to stay and continue building up the community.

If you have been fired and could use the suite, apply on JangaFX's website. If your application is approved, you'll get to use EmberGen, LiquiGen, IlluGen, and GeoGen for up to 6 months for free.
