Jason Key demonstrated a test using NVIDIA's RTX PRO 6000.
VFX Artist Jason Key, whose impressive work with JangaFX's software we featured multiple times, recently showcased a real-time viewport capture of the upcoming EmberGen's sparse solver running on the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell, demonstrating interactive simulation and rendering of one billion voxels.
Jason noted that similar performance can be achieved with the RTX 5090, though its lower VRAM limits how far you can push the detail. He recently received a Dell Pro Max Tower T2 workstation, so we'll likely see more impressive simulations:
It looks like the solver will debut with EmberGen 2.0 in 2026, a complete rewrite built from the ground up:
