Back in September, Procedural Artist Jesse Miettinen previewed his brand-new generator that lets users create tileable 3D destroyed concrete models. Fast forward a couple of months, and the maestro continues working on the tool, showcasing its second iteration over on Twitter.
Powered by Blender's Geometry Nodes, the "rnd2 wip preview diy fyi," has some of the indexing issues resolved, with plans to add better noises and more scale variation before its official release. Once finished, the tool will be part of Jesse's upcoming "The Last of Us-like generator," which will include multiple destruction tools and, according to the latest update, is "coming soonish."
