A more stable version is coming.
Great news for Blender lovers! 3D Artist Jesse Miettinen, a.k.a. Blenderesse, has started rewriting his cool Geometry Nodes-powered cottage generator from scratch. The reason behind the decision is mostly because Blender now has more nodes and "stuff that make it more stable and reliable."
"For the roof there will be option to do more precise cover. All the cutoffs are done without Boolean so it's fast," he said on X/Twitter.
For the artist, it's also a chance to remind himself of the basics and try something new when he already knows what the result should be like.
Miettinen teased a new version of the generator last year, and now it seems we'll see something even better.
Previously, Jesse also revealed an amazing short animation inspired by the Dune series, a stunning castle generator, a freezing effect, a tool for scattering pigeons, a procedural hazmat tent simulation, a wind-blown tree, a Geometry Nodes-powered bridge generator that can adapt to the landscape, a cool-looking wave simulation, a powerful generator that can create entire cities, an incredible melting effect, a 2D fluid simulation, a procedural water smudge mask generator, and more.
