Jettelly's The Godot Shaders Bible Is Finally Complete

One more future update is planned for Godot 4.6.

In 2024, Fabrizio Espíndola, author of The Unity Shaders Bible and founder of Jettelly, began exploring Godot and started working on The Godot Shaders Bible, a comprehensive guide to shader development in Godot. From the beginning, his goal was to create a book that covers everything developers need to know, with its content continuously shaped by community feedback to ensure it remains relevant.

Now, as we step into 2026, the project is complete, totaling 360 pages in English and 370 pages in the Spanish edition. For those who have already purchased the book, this final update is completely free.

According to the author, there is still one more update planned in the near future. With Godot 4.6 just around the corner, the book will be updated accordingly to stay fully up to date. Beyond that, another update is planned further down the road, likely in a couple of years, and it will also be free for existing owners.

If you'd like to learn more about Fabrizio Espíndola and his work, last year we spoke with him about his artistic journey and how the industry has evolved over the past decade.
