Kim "V" Tae-hyung From BTS Recreated in Unreal Engine 5

This real-time portrait was made by Helena Shin.

3D Modeler and Senior Character Artist at KRAFTON Helena Shin has shared a new ArtStation post showcasing a real-time 3D recreation of Kim Tae-hyung, known professionally as V, a Korean singer and a member of the boy band BTS.

Set up as a professional project, the portrait was made using a variety of 3D software, including ZBrush, which was used for sculpting, Marvelous Designer for clothes, Maya for cloth retopology, the Mesh to MetaHuman tool and Wrap 3D for face retopology, Substance 3D Painter for PBR textures, and XGen for hair. In addition, the author utilized VFace for the character's skin and Unreal Engine 5 to render the model.
