Let's Celebrate Christmas with These Beautiful Painterly Shaders Made in Blender

David Lettier prolongs the holidays.

We hope your holiday spirit is still with you, and if not, we have just the right thing to right this wrong. Just take a look at Digital Artist and Software Engineer David Lettier's festive works created in Blender, and you'll be ready to celebrate again!

Lettier demonstrates his signature painterly shaders that turn 3D models into the 2D images you saw on Christmas cards back in the day, with gleaming ornaments and snowflakes swirling in a snow globe.

If you aren't familiar with his style yet, here are some of his works covered by 80 Level, including a collection of NPR renders, a beautiful lamp, some delicious renders, and a range of different scenes.

Find more of his art on X/Twitter and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our new Discord server, follow us on InstagramTwitterLinkedInTelegramTikTok, and Threads, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.

This project includes assets, maps, materials, Blueprints, and effects created in the Unreal Engine. Each asset was created for realistic AAA quality visuals, style, and budget.
