Anastasiia Panchoshak's great venture.
Anastasiia Panchoshak chose a truly great actor for her 3D portrait: Anthony Hopkins, known for The Silence of the Lambs, The Two Popes, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and more, is a renowned performer, but his facial structure is not easy to recreate. However, Panchoshak managed just fine, and there is no question her Hopkins is lovingly crafted after many hours of reference studies.
The project was sculpted and rendered in ZBrush, with the clothes done in Marvelous Designer, and the final image was polished in Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
"It was my first time working on a realistic portrait from scratch - and it turned out to be a great challenge and a rewarding experience. Now I’m ready to move on to my own likeness projects!"
You can find Panchoshak's other works on ArtStation.
She is not the first to recreate Hopkins: you can find his portraits from Hossein Diba and Victor Yamakado, whose likeness course Panchoshak took for this project.
