Lifelike Forested Mountains Made in Unreal Engine 5 With Lumen

Zubair Tanoli's new 3D environment teleports you to the tranquility-evoking shores of a mountainside lake.

Zubair Tanoli, a 3D Artist at Epic Games, continues his series of astonishing digital environments by unveiling Serenity in the Storm, a highly realistic real-time 3D scene set up with the help of Unreal Engine 5.

Depicting a tranquil setting of a beautiful lake surrounded by forested mountains, the environment was created to showcase the capabilities of Unreal Engine when it comes to designing digital landscapes. Besides UE5, the author also utilized Megascans and Sketchfab assets to set up the scene itself, DaVinci Resolve, Nuke for little touch-ups, and the engine's Lumen system for global illumination and reflections.

And here are some of the author's previous works, you can check out more by visiting Zubair's ArtStation page
