Livin' the Cream is a New Simulator Game That Will Make You Scream for Ice Cream
If you love ice cream, you'll want to see (and wish you could eat) this.
Makif is a Reddit user who has been sharing parts of the development process for their game, Livin' the Cream, an ice cream simulator they announced recently.
Recently, they shared a scoop mechanic that looks really smooth and, of course, creamy.
In the game, you will run your own ice cream shop, mixing flavors, adding toppings, serving customers, keeping the shop in order, hiring people, and working with the purpose of growing the business.
In a lot of ways, it follows on from other popular simulator games that aim to gamify otherwise mundane jobs that, for whatever reason, are extremely relaxing and satisfying in video game form.
Here is the trailer for the game:
In the comments of a Reddit post, makif explained that they worked on the mechanics, and their cousin worked on the visuals. The game has real-time physics, with smooth movements and other different mechanics.
The game is set to be released in Q4 2026, but you can already add it to your wishlist on Steam.
And you can check out other ice cream-related things we have shared in the past, like orthopaedicward's realistic animation of a chocolate ice cream breaking, or ImScaduxx's Christmas animation, or this delicious visualization made by Milo Vandenaweele.
