NetEase and Marvel Games have unveiled Marvel Rivals, a team-based PvP shooter featuring beloved heroes from comic books. In this third-person online action game, players will have a chance to engage in 6v6 battles on various maps within the Marvel universe.
In Marvel Rivals, players will not only use regular abilities but also special co-op abilities unique to each character. For instance, Hulk can charge Iron Man's armor with Gamma energy to enhance his damage, while Rocket Raccoon can team up with Groot to create a formidable duo.

The closed alpha test for Marvel Rivals is scheduled for May 2024, providing players with access to 12 heroes such as Spider-Man, Magneto, Black Panther, and Magik. The full game will include iconic characters like Iron Man, Rocket Raccoon, Hulk, Groot, Doctor Strange, and Luna Snow.
While the release date for Marvel Rivals remains undisclosed, it is confirmed to be launched on PC. Information about a console version has yet to be announced. As a free-to-play game, details regarding monetization strategies have not been disclosed by the developers.
