Material Development For Realistic Unity Mobile Game Character

Leo Lun and Lenba Sun presented their latest test project.

Building on what seems to be an Emma Stone 3D model by Leo Lun, Lenba Sun developed materials for a character in a Unity mobile game, focusing on shader programming and environment setup, lighting, and directing.

This project's key features include subsurface scattering, transmission, and Detail Normal Map blending. All the pictures were captured in real-time within Unity, and no post-production editing was involved. Check out more renders and videos below:

As for eyeballs, the feature list includes sclera/iris smoothness control, iris radius control, iris concave refraction, pupil animation, limbal ring width control, limbal color, and caustics:
