Junior Rigger Jade Carreira recently blew up on LinkedIn by showcasing an incredible mechanical scorpion rig created in Maya with nothing but the software's built-in tools.
Describing the project as an "absolute joy to work on", the author stated that the rig was set up procedurally and is driven by the local controller. Moreover, the setup is not based on any particular tutorial and was accomplished by Jade through " trial and error". Besides Maya, the author also utilized the TurboSquid library to get the scorpion model itself.
