Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Might Not Be PlayStation Exclusive

We will reportedly see it on PC and consoles.

The rumors of the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake are so plentiful it's hard to see them as anything but inevitable reality. We will see if they're true soon enough as it is said to be announced at the PlayStation Showcase on May 24.

Earlier, Windows Central's editor Jez Corden said he'd heard that Sony has some sort of an exclusive deal with Konami for the Metal Gear series, but Insider Gaming's sources now reveal that whatever that deal is, it's not about the game launching exclusively on PlayStation. According to them, the remake will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (through Steam).

"It’s currently unclear if the PlayStation version has some form of exclusive rights with its marketing or potential DLC," commented Insider Gaming.

For now, we are expecting to hear about the game as well as a new Castlevania title soon.
