Rumor: Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Will Be Released Next Year

We might hear about it soon.

Rumors about Konami remaking its Metal Gear Solid series have been around for some time now. VGC's Andy Robinson has recently added to them saying the MGS 3 remake will be released in 2024. Moreover, he claimed Konami would announce the game along with a new Castlevania at E3 in June.

We might also see MGS re-releases "of some kind", but it's not clear what they could be.

The problem is E3, which Konami is allegedly considering as its marketing plan, is in a precarious situation right now, with major companies like Sega, Tencent, Nintendo, Xbox, Sony, and Ubisoft skipping this year's event. Many people think it can be canceled soon, so then the remake announcement will have to move to Konami's own presentation.

Then again, this is all speculation for now, so don't expect too much until the company reveals its plans itself.
