They "remain committed partners for Xbox consoles, accessories, and games."

A curious rumor spread during the weekend, making Xbox fans worried about the future of their favorite console. Reddit saw lots of posts from people claiming Target and Walmart would not sell Xbox products anymore.
"My local Target is getting rid of their entire Xbox section. The electronics manager says they will no longer carry systems, games, or accessories," one user said. "He also said all Targets in the Kansas City area are purging their Xbox stock as well."
"On Wednesday, the Target I work for has removed all Xbox games and I’m pretty sure it will be store wide. All the games have been discontinued and will most likely go clearance," shared another.
While Xbox boss Phil Spencer himself admitted that his hardware has lost the console war, it's not over yet. Microsoft had to intervene and release a statement, saying that "Target and Walmart, among other retailers, remain committed partners for Xbox consoles, accessories, and games" (via Windows Central).
Many people have checked their local stores and found Xbox where it should be, so don't worry. Although I wouldn't be surprised if the company (along with PlayStation) went fully online.
