Microsoft is reportedly developing a remaster of Halo: Combat Evolved and is considering releasing it on PlayStation in addition to Xbox.

Halo: Combat Evolved, released in 2001, is a ground-breaking first-person shooter game developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It set new standards for the genre with its revolutionary gameplay, rich storytelling, and multiplayer mode.
In 2011, to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary, Microsoft released Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, a remastered edition featuring updated graphics, a remixed soundtrack, and added features like achievements and in-game collectibles, while preserving the iconic gameplay and story of the original.

According to Warren, this remaster is one of several new games being considered for Project Latitude, which is Microsoft's internal name for its new multi-console release strategy. Regarding this project, Warren stated:
“I’m not expecting to hear much about Project Latitude during Sunday’s Xbox showcase, as Microsoft will largely focus on games for Xbox instead. Microsoft isn’t planning to go fully multiplatform and not have Xbox exclusives.”
