Microsoft Sold Over 21 Million Xbox Series X|S Units

At ID@Xbox Developer Accelerator Program, Microsoft announced that the sales of Xbox Series X|S surpassed 21 million units. Together with Xbox One, the company has sold 79 million consoles. 

Interestingly, 48% of Series S owners are new to Xbox. The platform is used by 15.6 million users monthly, which is 20% more than there were last year. 

Additionally, there are 248.6 million active Windows gaming PCs and 168.3 million monthly Windows Store visitors. The number of paid unique users has grown 3% year-on-year.   

Game Pass offers over 400 console games and more than 300 PC games. Most of them come from the US, Brazil, and Mexico. 

One slide suggested in-game advertising would be coming to Xbox soon.
