Most Accurate Procedural Biological Materials For Blender
Bioform is made by a real medical doctor.
Some things can only be created at the intersection of different fields, and Hamza N. Meo, a medical doctor and 3D Artist, is a great example of that. He recently launched Bioform, a fully procedural biological material library for artists who want realistic surfaces that still hold up when the camera gets close.
Bioform is a growing library that currently offers 40 materials, with more on the way. It has tissue, organs, bone, fluids, and a deep range of pathology. It also comes with two custom engines for living skin and tumor growth. Both are fully parametric, so you can create virtually endless variations.

"Every material is vetted by a medical professional and checked against real anatomy, so the biology reads true", claims the developer.
There's no unwrapping or baking required, the detail is generated procedurally at render time, so it holds up at any distance. Bioform is built for Blender 5.0 and above and works with both EEVEE and Cycles.
Before purchasing the full version, you can try the demo for just $3. Documentation is also available to help you get started and troubleshoot any issues.
