During the latest EA earnings call, the company revealed its plans for non-sports titles that you might be looking forward to. EA's CFO Stuart Canfield shared that the company is seeking "iconic new releases" in FY25 and beyond, which includes franchises such as Battlefield, Sims, Mass Effect, and others.
Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA, hinted at the possibility of a new Battlefield game coming in the near future, stating that studios are working towards building a vast universe for fans. Given that Battlefield games typically launch in the Fall season, it's unlikely that we will see another Battlefield game until Fall 2025 or even 2026.
"We're making investments in the future of the Battlefield franchise. Our exceptional teams from multiple world-class studios working with cutting-edge frostbite technology are building an expansive, community-focused Battlefield universe for fans," stated Wilson.

Also, we reported that the next Battlefield game is aiming to have "the most realistic and exciting destruction effects in the industry", as was spotted in the description for the Battlefield VFX Director's position.
Apart from the Battlefield franchise, EA also has several new games in development, such as Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, Skate, a new Sims game, and others. It's also worth mentioning that, based on EA's release schedule, the new Sims game may not be available until after 2025.
