i thought there wouldnt be anything better than akeytsu for creating easy animations. im happy if i am proven wrong.

Ninja Ripper Importer for Maya

Check out a free importer for Autodesk Maya by Sergey Makeev called Ninja Ripper. The tool is capable of importing models, normals, UVs and materials. What is more, you can import a large number of files simultaneously.

Installation

  • Clone repo to any folder;
  • Run “Source script” -> “NinjaImporter.py” from Maya Script Editor.

It is worth noting that this project is meant for educational purposes only.
