The game became the highest-rated game of its publisher tinyBuild.
ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs, an atmospheric cozy sim where you run a repair shop in mid-2000s Tokyo and give a new life to Y2K gadgets, earned over $2 million within less than a week since its release on August 6. Players have loved the nostalgic vibes and engaging repair mechanics, and ReStory also gained overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam.
According to the data shared on X/Twitter by Alex Nichiporchik, CEO of the game's publisher tinyBuild, the project's lifetime gross Steam revenue amounts to $2,003,126, and lifetime net Steam revenue is $1,767,123. These figures make ReStory tinyBuild's highest-rated game ever, with over 95% positive Steam reviews.
Nichiporchik also revealed data about the game's conversion, sharing that ReStory's rate on day 1 was an impressive 8.1%, which he described as "phenomenal," a claim well supported by the numbers. The game sold 100,000 copies in around 24 hours.
