Deemos has introduced a new generative AI for creating 3D models.
Deemos, a Chinese software development studio that specializes primarily in artificial intelligence and metaverse applications, has officially introduced Rodin Gen-1, a brand-new generative AI model that can create 3D models from text descriptions. Described by the team as "revolutionary, the novel solution was shown to be able to generate rather impressive results, somewhat complex shapes, and even PBR textures. According to the developers from Deemos, all of the assets Rodin generates "should be retopologized".
At the moment, there is limited information available about the Rodin Gen-1, as the developers are primarily urging AI enthusiasts to sign up for the waitlist. Beyond the brief trailer embedded above, Deemos has not released substantial details about the AI, contributing to its relatively obscure status. To join the waitlist, you can visit the developer's official website.
