During the Xbox Developer Direct livestream, which took place on January 18, Obsidian announced that its first-person fantasy RPG Avowed will be released sometime in spring 2024, as well as shared some game's combat mechanics.
The developer showcased a flexible and enjoyable game combat system, where players can switch between playstyles using custom loadouts to deal with enemies, taking into account their unique characteristics.
Avowed will also offer a diverse array of weapons, including swords, axes, bows, and even a magical wand equipped with a variety of spells within the main character's arsenal.
Avowed is slated for release this autumn on PC and Xbox Series X|S and will be available on Xbox Game Pass since the first day of its launch. As for now, you can check its Steam page and add it to your wishlist.
