Original Resident Evil 4 Director Approves of the Remake

Shinji Mikami enjoyed the experience.

There aren't many players who don't like the Resident Evil 4 remake, but it's still heartwarming to see the people that worked on the original game approve of the new version.

Shinji Mikami, the director of the first RE4, recently completed the game and went on Twitter to say he "enjoyed it very much".

It might not be surprising as the remake is faithful to the original, but it's still nice to see the creators appreciate the game as we do.

Mikami, founder and CEO of Tango Gameworks, got the time to play soon after the news of his departure from the studio spread. During his time at the company, he directed 2014's The Evil Within and its sequel. More recently, Mikami served as an executive producer on Ghostwire: Tokyo and the Game Pass sensation Hi-Fi Rush.

Find Mikami's tweet here and don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
