The new generation of Deep Learning Super Sampling will be supported by Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Unreal Engine, and many others.
In case you missed it, alongside the new RTX 4080 and 4090 GPUs, NVIDIA also announced the release of the third generation of Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), a new version of the company's AI-powered performance multiplier designed to boost performance while maintaining great image quality and responsiveness.
Powered by the new fourth-generation Tensor Cores and Optical Flow Accelerator, DLSS 3 adds Optical Multi Frame Generation to generate new frames and integrates NVIDIA Reflex low latency technology for optimal responsiveness, allowing developers to boost the graphics to a whole new level.
Less than a day after the reveal of DLSS 3, over 35 developers announced their plans to support the newly-released technology and integrate it into their games and apps. According to a new blog post shared by NVIDIA, such games as Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Hogwarts Legacy, Atomic Heart, and, of course, Portal will get DLSS 3 support in October, as well as such apps as NVIDIA Omniverse, Unity, and Unreal Engine.
