Over-the-Top Pistol Reloading Animation Set Up in Maya

John Seldon celebrated 10 years of not creating first-person animations with an awesome first-person animation.

Senior Gameplay Animator John Seldon, who previously worked on Crysis 3 and Homefront: The Revolution, has recently celebrated 10 years of not working on first-person animations in the most appropriate way possible – by creating an impressive first-person animation in Maya.

According to John, it's been nearly ten years since he left Crytek and stopped working on FPS character animations, and to commemorate this milestone, he created an over-the-top pistol reloading animation reminiscent of the unrealistic easter egg reloads found in Battlefield games. As for the additional resources, the creator utilized the Manny rig by Joe Toole and the Glock rig by Delrious5 to bring his vision to life.
