PC, Console & Mac Specs For Crimson Desert Finally Unveiled

Every platform offers a solid set of options.

Crimson Desert

As the wait for Crimson Desert nears its end, Pearl Abyss has finally released the official performance specifications, which should ease the concerns of players who have been eagerly seeking more details about console performance.

Standard PS5 owners can choose from three modes depending on whether they prioritize frame rate or visuals. Quality mode offers upscaled 4K from 1440p using FSR 3 at 30 FPS with Raytracing set to High. On the PS5 Pro, Quality mode takes the lead by delivering native 4K at 30 FPS with Raytracing on Ultra. For Xbox players, the Series X also offers three modes, while the Series S provides two options.

To utilize the variable refresh rate targets, a VRR-compatible display and an HDMI 2.1 cable are required. Also, the 40 FPS and 60 FPS VRR Performance modes on PS5 and Series X need a display that supports 120/240 Hz:

Portable players are included, with the ROG Xbox Ally X reaching 60 FPS at upscaled 1080p with FSR 3 Super Resolution and Frame Generation:

Overall, Crimson Desert requires a 150 GB SSD to accommodate its vast world. For PC players aiming for Ultra mode at 4K 60 FPS, a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is recommended, while the minimum requirements are a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT. For Mac players, Crimson Desert uses the For This Mac feature to automatically assign settings based on your hardware, though macOS Tahoe is recommended:
