Hogwarts Legacy is a commercial success snatching first places in all imaginable charts, but it comes with a price: the game requires a lot of PC power. Even with a great computer, many players experience stuttering, low FPS, and other performance issues. Thankfully, fans of the franchise look out for each other and have already come up with fixes for the problems.
One Reddit user called FriedBongWater offered some tips to help others with FPS dips. They said you should enable hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling and add some lines to the game file. The instructions, which you can find here, aided many, so it seems to be a great way to up your game before Avalanche Software rolls out a patch addressing the problems.
Nexus Mods also has something to offer. There are several mods from different creators that might make your experience smoother, like Ascendio – Unofficial FPS Hotfix for PC, Stuttering and low performance fix, and DLSS Update.
