Procedural Interior Generator Set Up in Unreal Engine 5

The generator was created by Micah Berninghausen for a WiP game project.

Indie Game Developer Micah Berninghausen, also known as GameDevMicah, has recently shared a series of demos, showcasing an absolutely mind-blowing procedural interior generator, created with Unreal Engine 5 for Super Hero Tear Up, the developer's WiP game project that would enable the player to destroy Epic Games' Matrix City demo level in real-time.

Powered by UE5's Nanite, this procedural script allows its developer to quickly and easily fill each building in the city with floors, columns, office tables, chairs, and working stairs, enhancing the location's believability. According to Micah, 619 buildings present in the city were populated with props in around seven minutes on an RTX 4090-powered PC with 16GB of RAM.
