Real-Time Clothing Change Effect Made in Unity

Here's one more astonishing effect made by Sakura Rabbit.

Indie Game Developer and VFX Artist Sakura Rabbit continues pushing the boundaries of what we consider to be possible with yet another mind-blowing project. This time, the creator has managed to create a magical-looking clothing change effect that allows her to change the attire of her digital characters in real-time. Much like Sakura's previous projects, this effect was created with Unity.

    That was beautiful. Would be cool to have something like that in an MMO game, like: map pre-saved custom outfits to certain keys and then activate them by pressing said keys and watch your character change into the clothes.

    It could be tricky if gear stats were part of the game, but you could always opt for allowing customization over set pieces so as to maintain stats while changing clothes and avoid letting players quick-change their stats at the push of a button.

    I love it.
