Digital water expert Mārtiņš Upītis has unveiled a cool new setup.
Tech Artist and the Co-Founder of Physical Addons Mārtiņš Upītis, whose impressive digital water projects never cease to amaze us, has recently shared a series of demos showcasing a stunning real-time water simulation with floating particles set up in Blender using its Geometry Nodes toolset.
According to the creator, this serene setup consists of three simulation passes – "forces from rigid bodies are sent to the fluid solver that are added on top of simulated water ripples" – and runs on an AMD Ryzen 9-powered PC. Additionally, the creator noted that the project utilizes a custom-made 2D solver based on the technique demonstrated in Wyatt Flanders' MeAndMyNeighborhood article.
