The creator used an iPhone with the Live Link VCAM app as a virtual camera.

Generalist Supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic Mickael Riciotti has recently presented Aftermath, an ultra-realistic urban environment made in Unreal Engine 5. According to the project's description, the scene was created by Mickael using UE5's Lumen and Nanite tools, Megascans assets and decals, and an iPhone with the Live Link VCAM application to set up the virtual camera. The goal of the project, commented the creator, was to learn more about the engine.
